NOTA PARA LA FIESTA DE FILIPINAS Y EL 21 DE NOVIEMBRE<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Con su consentimiento, publicamos la nota que la Hna. Barbara Dawson acaba de enviar a sus hermanas con motivo de la fiesta de Filipina Duchesne y del aniversario del primer compromiso de Sof\u00eda Barat, el 21 de noviembre de 1800, en Par\u00eds, en la que menciona la dif\u00edcil situaci\u00f3n de las RSCJ en algunos pa\u00edses. Rezamos por ellas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Queridas hermanas,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mientras nos preparamos para celebrar la fiesta de nuestra hermana, Filipina, y el d\u00eda en que Sof\u00eda y sus compa\u00f1eras hicieron su primer compromiso como religiosas con votos, recemos por nuestro bendito y roto mundo - especialmente por la creciente tensi\u00f3n en Am\u00e9rica Latina, en Chile y Bolivia, as\u00ed como por el continuo conflicto en Hait\u00ed. Hemos tenido noticias de nuestras hermanas en Chile y Hait\u00ed y todas est\u00e1n a salvo en este momento. Tanto en Chile como en Hait\u00ed, la mayor\u00eda de las comunidades permanecen en sus casas. Hemos tenido noticias del noviciado interprovincial de Chile, donde tenemos novicias de Espa\u00f1a y M\u00e9xico, as\u00ed como hermanas de Puerto Rico, Espa\u00f1a y Chile. Edith Opazo, la provincial de Chile escribi\u00f3, \"las cosas est\u00e1n muy complejas y parece que no hay salida. No sabemos en qu\u00e9 va a terminar esto. La represi\u00f3n es horrible y la violencia no parece terminar. Gracias por tenernos en oraci\u00f3n\". Tambi\u00e9n hemos sabido por nuestras hermanas de Hait\u00ed que la tensi\u00f3n en el pa\u00eds contin\u00faa. Nuestra hermana Matilde (ESP) est\u00e1 en Puerto Pr\u00edncipe alojada con los jesuitas porque no puede volver a Balan, y nuestras otras cuatro hermanas, Valle de Espa\u00f1a, Bibiane del Congo, Josefa de Puerto Rico y Marta de Chile, est\u00e1n en casa en Balan. Ni la escuela ni la cl\u00ednica funcionan y las carreteras son bastante peligrosas. El Equipo Central y la comunidad de Hait\u00ed decidieron juntos posponer nuestra visita a Hait\u00ed por la seguridad de todos. Nos reuniremos con ellos por videoconferencia desde Puerto Rico. Oremos a Sophie y Philippine. mujeres que respondieron a la llamada de Dios en medio de la revoluci\u00f3n, para que nosotras tambi\u00e9n seamos mujeres de coraje y confianza, dondequiera que estemos, entrando de lleno en la realidad de cada d\u00eda y de cada persona que encontremos en el camino. Pongamos en el coraz\u00f3n de Jes\u00fas en estos d\u00edas a Chile y a Hait\u00ed y a todos aquellos lugares y situaciones donde la gente est\u00e1 m\u00e1s sufriendo y necesitada. Esto les trae mucho cari\u00f1o y oraci\u00f3n,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
