THE XVII AMASC CONGRESS IN 2022

PRESIDENT’S RELEASE Dear friends, With great sadness, I am announcing that the health circumstances unfortunately do not allow us to envisage a World Congress like those of Merida, Phoenix or Malta, to mention only the last of them. Indeed, we cannot run the financial risk of cancelling it at the last minute because of the epidemic. We regret it as much as you do, rest assured! In accordance with the AMASC statutes, we will however organise at the end of our mandate a General Assembly in Naples, reserved for the National Presidents, probably around 23 / 29 October 2022 which will elect the new AMASC Board of Directors for the mandate 2022-2026. The General Assembly will be convened so that we can either gather in Naples or meet by videoconference, depending on the health situation at that time. The difficulties linked to the coronavirus have prevented me from getting closer to you as I would have wished, by visiting the various national associations: I hope that the health situation will improve so that we can start living as before. As I write to you, the situation in Ukraine/Russia has worsened! Let us pray together for peace to come closer and for the violence against the defenceless population to stop.
