HAPPY EASTER TO ALL !

The message of the President Paola del Prete for the Feast of the Resurrection :

“ Dear friends,

We are approaching Easter, which brings with it the message of Resurrection. Also of joy, of newness, of life.

The days are getting longer, the colors are changing, life is reborn in nature and the roses on my terrace are beginning to give me their first buds.

And even if it is just a little by little, one can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

At the end of the second year of the Presidency, the Board of Directors met to review the various activities carried out. (*)

Unfortunately, the current conditions prevented us from meeting in person, but zoom allowed us to see each other and exchange ideas: we still felt like family!

Through Sister Dorota Zych’s news from Tchad, we discussed the development of the school of Bougoudang: the construction of the new classrooms is progressing and I invite you to contribute, even with small amounts, to this beautiful common mission in line with the educational project for all of our Foundress, Saint Madeleine-Sophie Barat. France, Ireland, Belgium and Italy have already contributed to the development of this school!

The evolution of the project of this school in Bougoudang is regularly updated on our website: you will be amazed by the changes, like the children who now have real classrooms!  We are committed to developing this school even further!

One of the main themes of our meetings is how to make ourselves known to the younger generations and how to restore enthusiasm to the National Associations, especially at this times of crisis.

New ideas always emerge from the debate and this project, which is very close to my heart, was born: it is an international video.

In  small flashes, this video will show those among us who, thanks to their education at Sacred Heart, have make, are making, and are playing important roles in work, politics, entertainment, volunteerism, society, …

This is why I insist on everyone’s help: each of you can reach out to your own reality and contribute, in a simple way, to the realization of this great portrait of the Sacred Heart family.

The educational mission of Saint Madeleine-Sophie will be realized, bringing to the world the result of her educational project.

I leave you with the words of Pope Francis:

“Easter is the event that brought radical news for every human being, for history and for the world: the triumph of life over death; it is the feast of reawakening and of rebirth. 


Christ is risen! And we have the possibility of opening our hearts and receiving his gift of hope. Let us open our hearts to hope and go forth. May the memory of his works and his words be the bright star which directs our steps in the ways of faith towards that Easter that will have no end.

Easter tells us that God can turn everything to good. And this is not an illusion, because the death and resurrection of Jesus are not an illusion, it is truth.”
