NOMINATIONS OPEN FOR 2026-2030 AMASC BOARD

Greetings from AMASC! As the AMASC 2022-2026 mandate nears an end, we are preparing to elect the new AMASC Board of Directors for the 2026-2030 mandate. These elections will occur at the AMASC World Congress in Puerto Rico 11/12/2026 – 11/16/2026.

The positions that are a part of the election include the President, Vice President and any other positions for which there are explicit nominations. There are several other board positions that may be elected at the meeting or appointed by the President. Board positions include: Treasurer, Secretary General, Archivist, Hospitality Chair, Liaison to Belgium Authorities, Regional Coordinators, Newsletter Coordinator, Webmaster and Young AMASC Coordinator. See the attached Job Descriptions document for details on each positions.

It is time to declare intent to be a candidate and/or nominate an individual to serve on the Board. Each nomination must include three documents for the candidate, written in the three languages of our world association (UK, FR, ESP): An application form with curriculum vitae, which must be filled in by the candidate and include a letter of motivation.
A nomination form to be filled in and signed by a Full Member.
A nomination form to be filled in and signed by the President of the candidate’s country.
A nomination form to be filled in and signed by the President of an association different from the one to which the candidate belongs (for example, the President of Spain could recommend the nomination of one or more candidates from France or Austria.).
